Meet Our Staff

He received his MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary and holds a BA in History and Classical languages from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Christopher has had a diversity of experiences in ministry having pastored churches in the Seattle area, Michigan, and suburban Memphis. He loves to travel and studied in Jerusalem for a year and that is where he met his wife Alisa. Most of all Christopher enjoys the time he spends with Alisa and their two children: Liam and Jane. They love to travel and have rather adventurous tastes in food.

Alisa Peterson: Director of Children's MinistriesAlisa has a BA in Religious Studies from Westmont College and an MSW from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Children's ministry is a passion for Alisa as she loves to see children excited about life with God and spiritually formed in the church. Prior to this position, Alisa has had a career as a clinical social worker, focused on helping children and families through difficult times. Alisa has many interests including art, being in nature, knitting, and spending time with her husband and two children.
Julianna Presley: Office AdministratorJulianna is originally from Jones County and still trying to learn her way around Thomaston. She thinks of herself as a "general flunkie in charge of nothing" but is willing to try to do help anyone that she can. She loves to read and do crafts and has a huge pen collection but doesn't ever want to use them. She is definitely not the cook in her family and can barely boil water so as long as you never ask her to cook a meal we should all be good.
