Homecoming 2006

Sunday, August 13 – First Presbyterian had its first homecoming on August 13, 2006.   Dr. W. R. Conine, former pastor, preached on “Something New Every Morning” (Lamentations 3: 22-26).  Dr. David Delph, former pastor, led the Invocation, Confession of Sins, and the Assurance of Pardon.  The Reverend Tom Dews, former pastor, led the first reading of scripture (I Corinthians 1: 3-9).  The Reverend Don Fehr, interim pastor, delivered the Prayer of Thanksgiving and led the proclamation of the Apostles Creed.  The Reverend Joe Blevins delivered the Benediction. After the service, members and guests enjoyed a meal and time of fellowship.
