At a congregational meeting on January 27, 2008, following the 11:00 am worship service, the following were elected to serve as members of the Elder Nominating Committee:

Lillie Thurman

Jim Capel

Betty Dawkins

Bobbie Sue Jones

They join the two Elders selected by the Session,

Ed Alverson and Ruth Presley, to serve on the Nominating Committee.

On February 24, 2008, the committee recommended and elected by acclamation the following to the Class of 2010:

Vickie Capel

Don Sanders
