Confession
of Sins:
You created
us, O God, and placed within us your own breath, your own Spirit, your own
life. You gave us all of creation to
care for as you care for us. You have
given us the example of yourself as undivided community. In spite of all these gifts, we have sinned
against you. We have lived our lives
disconnected from you and without regard for your gentle leading and
teaching. We have used
and abused creation; caring only for our own momentary gain. We have forgotten the example of the Trinity,
and have used our differences as excuses to exclude and divide us.
Forgive us
our sinfulness, our blindness, and our stubborn unwillingness to change and
follow your son, our Savior, Jesus the Christ.
Send your Spirit on us once again, that we might be your faithful
people, united as a sign of your coming kingdom in all creation. (time of silent
confession)

New Pictorial Directory
Our church is going to publish a new
pictorial directory using the Olan Mills Video Image Proofing System. There will be someone in the Narthex this
morning to reserve an appointment time.
Each family photographed will receive a complimentary directory and a
free 8X10 custom color portrait from Olan Mills. Because of the video image proofing you will
only make one trip to the church. Please
plan 45 minutes to one hour for the entire process. All pose selections for the directory, your
free 8X10, and any purchases you may wish to make will be completed at this
time. If you wish to bring friends or
family who do not attend this church you may instruct the photographer to make
separate poses for the directory. For
groups of 8 or more please schedule 2 appointment times. Due to insurance no pets are allowed.

Call to Worship
(Psalm 8)
Leader: O
Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
People: We look at all you have created, the moon
and the stars in the heavens, and we wonder, what are humans that you care for
them?
Leader: Yet
God has made us a little lower than divinity.
People:
All creation has been given to our care.
Leader: You, O Lord, are our sovereign,
All: How Majestic is your name in all the
earth!
