Prayer Concerns

Please continue to keep the following individuals and their families in your prayers:  Katherine Birdsong, Mark Blevins, Jane Eubanks, John and Virginia Ferguson, Norman Gardner, Charlie and Martha Jewell Mixon, and Dick Strouss

 

The congregation extends its Christian Sympathy to Charlie and Mary Ann McCrary on the passing of Charlie’s mother, Mozella Rogers McCrary Wilks, who joined the church triumphant on March 19, 2005.

 

The following is the schedule for meetings the week of March 27 thru April 2, 2005.  Please note all meetings will be at the church unless otherwise indicated.

Sunday

The Sunday Evening Bible Study will not meet tonight.

Wednesday

Family Night Supper is Wednesday night at 6:00 in the fellowship hall.  Everyone is invited and asked to bring a covered dish. We will enjoy dinner and fellowship.

 

April Newsletter

Please have any information for the April newsletter in writing to the church office by Tuesday, March 29.

Communion

Communion will be celebrated on Sunday, April 3, 2005.

 

Men of the Church

Mark your calendar for Monday April 4.  Gary Moore will be our guest sharing with us his testimony regarding his heart transplant.  Richard Strouss and Ken Asmussen will provide the supper.  So that they will know how many to prepare for, please contact the church office or sign the sheet located in the Narthex by Sunday, April 3rd.

 

Renewal Weekend

Renewal Weekend will be Saturday and Sunday, April 9th and 10th.  Parker Williamson will be our guest speaker.  Our programs will begin with a BBQ Supper (Bobby Searcy catered) on Saturday evening at 6 PM (reservations required, donations accepted for the BBQ supper) followed at 6:30 PM by a program led by Parker Williamson in the fellowship hall.  On Sunday morning Parker will present a program to the combined Sunday School classes at 9:30 AM, and will preach the sermon at the 11 AM Worship service.   Please note on this Sunday we will cancel our 8:30 morning worship service.  Complete and tear off below by Tuesday, April 5 and place in the offering plate or you may call the church office.

I plan to be present for the Saturday Evening BBQ at 6 PM on Saturday April 9th:
