ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SUNDAY
Pastor Blevins is preaching this Sunday on Judas (Mark.14:
1-2, 10-11) in the series “In the Presence of Christ.”
Please continue to keep the following
individuals and their families in your prayers: Katherine Birdsong, Jane Eubanks, Norman
Gardner, Charlie Mixon and Martha Jewell Mixon, Gloria Ormand, and
In the weeks leading up to Easter morning, Pastor Blevins will be
preaching a sermon series entitled In the Presence of Christ. This series will focus on the lives of some
of the people who were in the presence of Christ during His last days. The goal of the series is to get us to
examine ourselves in the light of those who turned away from Christ during His
time of passion, and consider
if the negative things that caused them to turn away just might
be in our lives too. This should be a
good series to help us grow in our faith and rise above our own
inconsistencies, and help us stand in the presence of Christ as stronger
Christians. Why not plan to be present each Sunday until Easter, and invite someone
who doesn’t have a church home to attend the series with you?
